Gaetano Carboni and Harriet Matzdorf from Pollinaria - the wine farm, artist residency, resarch and curatorial agency - connected with Myvillages just before the start of the Corona pandemic. We met every month online to meet and get to know each other through sharing books, research, rural memories and trans-local drawing.

In October 2021 Myvillages spent ten days at Pollinaria, making first connections with local residents and groups. Seed heritage, bottom-up planning, inter-generational economies, land-use and outdoor school formats were some of the many research and practice based overlaps we noted.

Myvillages and Pollinaria are currently working on setting up a drawing school with trees. Leaning against, sittig beyond, looking at and learning from trees in the immediate neighboourghood of Pollinaria and the village of Loretto. Start: October 2022.
